DeviantART Musicians MixtapeAim:
The aim of the project is to help promote the music of the DeviantART community by giving them the option to submit music to a "Free Download" project in order to share and promote their music without breaching the terms and conditions on DeviantART for uploading music to their pages.
How it will work:
Any Musician (with a DeviantART account) will "submit" a track (.mp3) they wish to put on the project. To submit they must send me a download link to the .mp3 file which I review and add to the "Music Project Folder" on my desktop. Once there is enough music a "release" will be put out where the music will be hosted and people free to download and listen to the music. Files will contain all information of the Musician and Deviants username/URL.
Outcome:
To produce a music "mixtape" with many deviants music on to help share and promote their music. The project will be downloadable and (as of now) will be promoted by each of the artists. This would also give deviants with music a place to share their music without uploading it to DeviantART, which is currently not allowed.
